Thanks to the generosity of volunteer urologist, Dr. Bill Tozzo, the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic in Stuart, Florida, is mortgage-free.

In this video, Dr. Tozzo talks about the important services provided by the VIM Clinic to the uninsured of Martin County.

Clinic by the Bay
Clinic by the Bay, San Francisco's VIM clinic, is providing free health care to working uninsured adults in the Excelsior, Visitacion Valley, and Daly City neighborhoods.

Their mission is to understand and serve, with dignity and respect, the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Volunteers in Medicine clinics are doing more with less when it comes to providing care for America's uninsured. In 2010, Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) clinics experienced an 18% increase in the number of people receiving care, an ongoing symptom of the ravages of the great recession.

Volunteers in Medicine is collaborating with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Foundation to promote Family Medicine Cares, the Foundation's new humanitarian program established to assist free clinics to care for the uninsured.
