International Hospital Benchmarking Trophy

Volunteers in Medicine was one of six organizations recognized at the 10th Annual International Hospital Benchmarking Forum in Münster, Germany. Dr. Roger Sorg, a volunteer at the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic in Hilton Head, SC accepted the “International Hospital Benchmarking Trophy for Crossing the Chasm in Outpatient Care Services for Uninsured People” award on behalf of the national office. Volunteers in Medicine was one of only two organizations in the United States to be honored at this event.
