Elfenworks Foundation Award

Dr. Jack McConnell and Volunteers in Medicine were honored at the 2nd annual “Hope Takes Flight” awards ceremony held at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carols, California. The “In Harmony with Hope” award was presented by Lauren Speeth, founder and president of the Elfenworks Foundation. Also recognized during the event was Lois Lee, founder and director of Children of the Night.

Since 2006, the Elfenworks Foundation has been working to end poverty through its partnerships with research institutions and non-governmental organizations whose work effect change in the lives of the poor and marginalized in our society.
